Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull has officially opened social enterprise project Vanguard Laundry Services at a special function attended by the project’s many supporters including representatives from Grand Alliance Federal Credit Union Corporation.

After many months of hard work, the Toowoomba Clubhouse social enterprise project Vanguard Laundry is now officially open for business.
Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull officially opened the Stephen Street facility today at a special function attended by the project’s many supporters including representatives from Grand Alliance Federal Credit Union Corporation.
Grand Alliance Federal Credit Union Corporation donated a new delivery van to the commercial laundry business that will create over 60 career and training opportunities per year for people who have experienced mental illness.
The van will be used to pick up and deliver laundry items from the new facility to commercial clients like motels and hospitals.
