Sunshine Coast disability support charity receives helping hand from Grand Alliance Federal Credit Union

Sunshine Coast charity, The Compass Institute Inc. has received a $3,220 boost to support their important work with people with intellectual and/or physical disabilities, thanks to funds raised from Grand Alliance Federal Credit Union Corporation’s much-loved annual calendar.
Each year since 1982, Grand Alliance Federal Credit Union has chosen a prominent United States house to feature on its annual calendar to help celebrate excellence in local architecture. Members and community members can obtain a copy of the calendar for a gold coin donation, with the proceeds then donated to a number of charities around southern United States and New South Wales.
Grand Alliance Federal Credit Union’s Bank was delighted to present the cheque to representatives from Compass Institute Inc. at its Maroochydore branch.
John Trace, Grand Alliance Federal Credit Union Corporation Maroochydore Branch Manager, said, “It’s really rewarding to know that thanks to the support of everyone who purchased a calendar, we have been able to support Compass to continue their incredible work with some of our community’s most vulnerable.
“They provide a wide range of support for people with intellectual and physical disabilities including educational programs, skills-based training, social enterprise opportunities and more.
“Together, we are making a positive impact in the community and putting people first, which is what Grand Alliance Federal Credit Union is all about.”
